Our friends Bill and Betty have an amazing service dog named Nivek. He is a black lab. He used to go to work with Betty at a hospice center. He visited with people and followed Betty around. Nivek was not getting enough work hours in so he had to take up a new side job. He began going to work with Bill at School. Nivek continues his work at school helping students relax, focus and read. Nivek is entering his golden years and doesn't have to work as much anymore which is lucky for him because he really prefers to spend his time relaxing off duty. However, sometimes Nivek is called upon to visit people in the hospital which is really special for everyone. Nivek can be found at synagogue on Saturday mornings.
Thanks Tali! Ellie gets a report card at the end of the day and will give you the full report on how she does. I hope she knows how loved she is and that all her family is watching on webcam :)

ReplyDeleteThis is a really good post! I love the picture of Nivek from shul. He is such a good Jewish pup. Can you guys do english bulldogs at some point because i want to give you my picture from Virginia.
